The farm is an innovative self contained vertical hydroponics growing facility. It is operated by Moffat County High School's Ag Education Dept. and Moffat County FFA Chapter. This innovative growing container produces a wide variety of leafy greens. We are operating 365 days a year and will provide fresh, locally grown greens even during the winter months.
The farm utilizes the most efficient and advanced technology practices to grow crops. These crops are all natural, as there are no pesticides or herbicides used in the growing process. The goal with this facility is to practice water conservation and efficiency in producing an acre's worth of food in just 4800 cubic feet and uses less than 5 gallons of water a day.
