About Us
Mystic Hills Farmstead is a small family farmstead on just over 70 acres of land in northern Routt County, Colorado. As a small farm, we hope to bring life back to our land through thoughtful action and by implementing sustainable agricultural practices. We believe in the beauty and simplicity of knowing where our food comes from. In living off the land, we hope to live our truest, most authentic, lives while encouraging those around us to do the same. Small farms are changing how our communities connect to food, so please join us on our farming journey!

What We Grow

Vegetables: We grow a wide variety of vegetables including: head lettuce, lettuce mixes, spinach, pac choi, broccoli, cabbage, kale, collards, chard, onions, garlic, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, a wide variety of root crops (carrots, turnips, radish, beets) and much, much more! Growing at 7,000 ft. can be a challenge, but if we can grow it in our short growing season, we do! All of our vegetables are grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides. We call it the soil, sun and water equation, and we don’t mess with it!

Poultry: Raising poultry is at the root of Mystic Hills Farmstead, and one of our greatest joys is raising our mixed flock of chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. We pasture raise all our animals, allowing them the freedom to scratch, eat bugs, and roam to their hearts’ content. In addition to the bugs and critters our birds snack on throughout the day, our animals are also fed fermented, non-medicated, non-GMO, feed in addition to kitchen and garden scraps they enjoy on a daily basis. We love each and every one of our birds, and we appreciate the bounty of eggs, meat, and happiness they bring to our lives.

Livestock: In addition to our poultry production, we raise Katahdin sheep and Mangalitsa pigs. Both are pasture raised and the pigs are fed non-GMO feed as well as kitchen scraps.

We are a small-family owned and operated business and will post food as we have extras available to be sold.

COVID-19 Response: We are following all city and county guidelines for keeping ourselves and you safe. Thank you so much for supporting local agriculture during these difficult and trying times.
