About Us
We specialize in food for people with multiple dietary restrictions - because that's how we eat!

Greg is a celiac who also can't do dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, coconut, sunflower, and more. Luckily, he's also a professional chef with over 20 years in the hospitality industry. He is also the owner and main man at Fireside Catering, a personal chef service.

Erica has a much more varied diet, but she's severely allergic to potatoes . . . and potato flour is a common ingredient in gluten-free baking.

In search for breads they could both eat - and that tasted good! - Greg began tinkering in the kitchen.

Lo and behold, Problem Child Cooking was born.
Practices
We use certified gluten-free products whenever available. If a certified line is not offered, we contact the manufacturer for further details, such as whether a dedicated line is used. We are conscious to avoid cross-contamination and do our baking in recyclable tins.

We prefer using local and/or small farm produce whenever possible. Our maple syrup is sourced from a small Vermont farm now in its sixth generation.
