Red Cabin Farm is located in West Routt County and our family is focused on sustainably producing local food. We have a mixed flock of chickens, ducks, and geese that alternate between time in a large run and free ranging. In 2017 we raised our first flock of lambs and we look forward to expanding our animal husbandry skills in 2018. Our property has an orchard that produces apples, cherries, pears, plums, and apricots that we harvest and preserve as jams, jellies, and pie fillings. As avid vegetable gardeners our family is excited to get our hands in the dirt once growing season commences. We keep bees on our property to aid in the pollination of our crops and we hope to get a big enough honey harvest this year to share. Most of all we are excited to make our locally farm raised, home grown, hand made products available to our Yampa Valley neighbors!
